What you will need:

4 wire hangers (or coated wire)
Glue gun (craft glue will work)
Pencil
Pliers
Electrical tape
2 pairs white thigh-high pantyhose (for the paint to show up vibrantly)
Acrylic paint
Incense sticks
Accents (flowers, glitter, rhinestones, etc.)
Ribbon


Steps:

1.Take your pliers and your hangers (or wire) and straighten them out (with the wire, it will already be straight)

2.Start bending the hangers into the wing shape of your choice, then twist the ends together with your pliers

3.After shaping and twisting all four hangers, stretch out your pantyhose and shape them over your hangers

4.Bring the hangers together, and use the electrical tape to secure them together (be sure to wrap tightly)

5.Light your stick of incense and gently poke holes into the ends of your wings, for a lacey effect

6.Outline a pattern of your choice on each wing

***NOW THE FUN PART***

7.Start painting!

*BE SURE NOT TO PAINT TOO THICK OR WINGS WILL BE HEAVY*

8.After your wings dry, wrap the ribbon around the electrical tape (use enough ribbon to make the straps) and glue it to the tape.

9.Once the glue dries, use accessories like, flowers or rhinestones, to put on the ribbon in the center to brighten up the wings and hide the rest of the tape

10.Sprinkle some glitter over your wings to make them, extra faerie-like!

11.Knock off the excess glitter, and your done!
